The Museum of Fine Arts – The Romanesque Hall

Museum of Fine Arts,
Romanesque Hall.
After three years the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest opened its door again. Only for a short time to introduce us the newly renovated Romanesque Hall before the grand opening in the end of October this year – I just cannot w a i t.

This hall is the most beautiful part of the museum. The roof and the walls were damaged during WW2 and since then it was closed to the public. For almost 70 years it was used as a storage place for the paintings of the Old Masters’ Gallery and the plaster casts collection of the museum. After the grand opening it will be used as an event space so hopefully I get the chance and have some bubbles there soon. Cheers!
