I am an
economist who loves to travel and loves visual arts. I came from a small
Hungarian city and since my childhood I drive my friends and family crazy with my
appetite for arts.
Wherever I go I try to discover and learn something new. At
the beginning I just went to see exhibitions and even without understanding
much I liked being there.
I have worked
for Louis Vuitton in London in the unique team of the LV art book shop. My boss
came from Tate Modern and my other colleague from Tate Britain. What a team we
had! This was my introduction to British contemporary art. My greatest memory ever is visiting the
studio of Antony Gormley.
Later I have
found myself in the Museum of Fine Arts-Hungarian National Gallery in Budapest
as Head of Retail. As preparing the shops for the temporary exhibitions I
learnt about various artists and movements. A beautiful journey.
Recently I have
finished my Art Valuer course. Now I am familiar
with how art is sold and how auction houses work.
Apart from
learning about the past (as my bucket list says…in Florence) I also wish to
discover contemporary art in the near future.
Here you can
read about my adventures in the art world…
