Last evening I had amazing time travel back to the nineties. I am from a small city in Hungary and in those days I was one of the 50 luckiest kid in the city. Music education was (and still it is) very strong there and we had an orchestra in the city. If you played good you were invited to be part of the team. After 1 year of hard work I joined then and I think this experience changed my life forever.  We had music tours across Europe and Hungary - this way we made friends in Germany or even in Denmark. I will never forget the journey to Denmark - 2 days on the bus... 2 days of fun... and just enough time to fell in love with the drummer boy. I believe this is how my love for travel also started.

 

Me and another ex clarinet player from the team were intived for their rehearsal yesterday. At the moment they are getting ready for the christmas concert so I felt extra special to be part of it.  It was very moving to see and hear them playing and to figure out who is sitting on my former place. It was exatly 20 years ago that I played with them on stage.
