Yves Saint Laurent Museum & Majorelle Garden & Villa Oasis

The Jardin Majorelle cannot be missed, any time I am in the city it is a destination. I especially like to sunbath at the terrace of the main building. (That is also the Berber Museum where you can see beautiful artefacts and jewelry of the Berbers.) I have decided to write my postcards here.

As the queue is always long here and we also wanted to go to the YSL Museum (4 women is Marrakech J ) we started our visit there. Shorter queue and you can buy combined tickets there so once your museum visit is over you just enter the garden without waiting.  It is a small exhibition but intense and I found it very emotional too.

The biggest surprise was as for a few days per week the doors of Villa Oasis (where Yves Saint Laurent and her parter Pierre Bergé lived) is opened too.  Basically we could have a walk in their garden and could see their beautiful home too. I asked someone who works there and was informed that since last Christmas the Foundation decided to open for 3 days per week (Friday to Sunday). So if you are a real fan make sure you plan your visit on these days.
