Tivadar Csontváry Kosztka (1853-1919) is one of the most influental painters of Hungary. The retrospective exhibition of the artist is in the former Army Headquaters building of the Buda Caste and can be visited until the end of January next year. The works don't follow a chronological order, the themes are connected with the motifs of the artist such as nature, antique ruins or the path of the sun.
I took a few pictures of his tipical motifs - the ones I really liked.
