"My client is not in a hurry." Gaudi made the best PR ever for the city.
Imagine what a beautiful life is to work on the construction of the Sagrada Familia.
Especially when people ask you the "What do you do for living?" question.

A random picture from Barcelona. I like it as our future and past is connected

Did you know that in London on New Bond Street there is a beautiful work by Henry Moore on one of the buildings? It is close to the end of Old Bond Street, just above the Loro Piana Boutique in the Time Life Building.
The sculptures are carved fully in 3D with space around them so the light can come through the stone.

It is said that once he finished them and they were in place he wanted to buy them back as he thought that as they are on the third floor people cannot see them properly.
The best place to look at the four abstract pieces is the other side of the street between the Louis Vuitton and Burberry stores.

The artist has many outdoor sculptures in London - keep looking!

One of the best places in Edinburgh: The Fruitmarket Gallery. This spring, when
I was visiting Jean-Marc Bustamante had his exhibition (photographs, sculptures,
from his early years and sculptures, paintings made between 2008-2010).
The coffe shop and the little bookstore make the place cosy in the harsh climate.
Great selection of art books and magazines. The people who work there
are also very lovely. Photo by Török Viktória

Max Weiler (1910 – 2001) was not only a great painter but an amazing graphic artist. His exhibition in Vienna at the Albertina presents 150 beautiful works on paper – from those 4000 works he produced in 70 years.  Walking along the rooms you will learn how his drawings evolved.
One of the highlights of the exhibition is the 10-meter-long charcoal work Naturgebild (Natural Formation). Take a seat in front of it and enjoy the view.

His last drawing is also on display in a little cabinet in the last room. It is quite a small and colourful piece. Don’t miss it.

Not much to do with visual arts but this is the best time of the year in Budapest.
Young hearts from all over the world come to the city every August for a week to
enjoy the SZIGET Festival. This is the bridge taking you to the island (sziget)
where the festival takes place. photo by Török Viktória

The festival brings together the biggest musicians from all over the world and
Hungary: pop, rock, well known DJs and even classical musicians. There is also a
Museum Quarter where our most important museums has mini booths and fantastic
activities related to their latest exhibitions. photo by Török Viktória

The most exciting concert last night: Hungarian pop musicians worked together
with the MR Symphony Orchestra to give new and fresh sounds to their songs.

Another amazing place in Paris is the Musee d'Orsay by the Seine. I especially like the history of
the building. The former Orsay train station and hotel was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1900
and after long years was turned into a museum. The beautiful clock on the wall the long hall and the
ceiling will tell you all the history. The restaurant of the museum was installed in the dining hall of the
former hotel. Mirrors, chadeliers and fine little details - such a pretty place for a meal.
